When should I work out?

I started a new job today and the building has an awesome fitness center that I can access for free. Trouble is, when is the best time to utilize it? I have to be at work by 8:00am and I have an hour commute to work so the thought of leaving for work even earlier is dawnting. I get an hour lunch but I'm afraid to work out and have to go back to the office all sweaty and messy. By the time 5:00pm comes around, all I can focus on is getting home to cook dinner for my family and unwind. I know working out is important but how do I do it?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You might try making the committment to work out early for just one month to see how it works for you. I'm *NOT* a morning person, but I always seemed to find a reason not to get on the tredmill when I got home. So, I tried getting up early to work out. It was tough for a time, but now it's just a matter of habit. In fact, if I do skip, I feel all nasty and groggy until about lunchtime! If you think about it, you really only have to get up earlier by however many minutes long your workout is. You might even find that you save time on your commute by leaving earlier. As an alternative, would your family agree to help start dinner for you a few nights a week so you could stay late to work out?
