Anyone still struggling w/mass changes?

Please tell me I'm not the only one who is still struggling with the mass changes.
One of our priests (the older one) has problems with it, too.
Learning it all in 2001 was hard, but re-learning it seems more challenging. I know it will click eventually, but it's a little bit frustrating.

I live in Germany, so it should be interesting when I go home to visit. Thanks to whoever posted that PDF link from Loyola Press I saw around here somewhere.
Raised Catholic, I think I'll still always hear the old responses in my head. Lol. But at least the change means I pretty much just literally translate the responses I've learned in Germany - they've been saying "And with your spirit" for years. ;-)

THat's the reason for the new translastion--to bring English speaking Catholics closer to the rest of the world.
I'm in Germany too, although I attend a military chapel, so Mass is in English. And, we have a lot of Germans who prefer to hear Mass in English so they go to our Mass.
Where in Germany are you?
Kellie

Yay! Someone else in Germany! We cant be too far because I'm in the formerly British occupied area: North Rhine Westphalia, ca. 10 minutes from Dutch border. Münster is the closest 'large' city to me.

Yes, yes, 1000-times yes.
This is a clear case of fixing what's not broken. The new translation is clumsy and unnecessary. Mass isn't even enjoyable anymore, to be perfectly honest.

Yes, this! I keep hoping it will click, but it hasn't happened yet, and I don't even like going right now. ![]()
