I'm attracted to things that are sexy, feminine, and earth friendly.  I'm a dreamer, and hopeless romantic and spend most of my days with my head in the clouds.  Inspired by the old, and appreciative of new sustainable options in life.  Whatever I'm passionate about, I tend to wear.  Most of the jewelry I have is passed down from my mother and grandmother.  Whenever I buy something, the effect that item has on the planet is my number one determining factor. That is why I have my Chico bag in this picture. I never leave the house without it and thus have prevented many plastic bags from entering landfills.  I shop at thrift stores and find staples from organic clothing lines.  I rarely ever match, and I like that. I don't like when things are "perfectly matched" because in life, that's just not the way it is.  The black and white photo on my jewelry box is of my two boxers Parker and Saidy.  They are the loves of my life and inspire me every day.  I wish I could take them with me every where.   

Something no one knows about me?  Before making this pile of all my favorite things, I didn't actually know what my style was.  Now I do!

• My style is minimal classic with a twist. I like to throw in a bold print or a studded accessory for pop. And a little sparkle is always great.
  

• I'm inspired by women who have a strong sense of self and personal style and who wear things with unabashed confidence, owning their look. I'm always online looking at fashion blogs like The Sartorialist, learning from the best and getting inspired.

• Something about me that most people wouldn't know (because I sometimes come off as quiet and shy) is that I tend to be very theatrical and dramatic around people I know well. My secret dream is to run away and join the circus - to be a performer!

Ladylike, whimsical, classic, and glamourous in an "everyday" sort of way.  I'm also pretty silly, confident, and creative.

• What inspires your style?

What DOESN'T inspire my style?  My mood, ads in fashion magazines, chictopia, fashion bloggers, Real Housewives, Blair Waldorf, etc.

• Tell us something about you that most people don't know (that you're willing to admit).

I'm the handyman-woman in my house.  I love tools, putting things together, and I buy legos/lincoln logs to play with when my toddler isn't around.  I'm also hoping Santa will bring me the "Barbie Basics" line of chic dolls.

I work in the medical field so the days of the week are very casual. My outfits are different colored scrubs and my hair is always up. I wear very little make up due to the fact I am getting older, and lines show up more easily. I do not feel very sexy at all at work. Now after work and on the weekend, my hair which is long, is rolled and layered. I wear very light  Estee Lauder make up after I cleanse my face with Cindy Crawford Meaningful Beauty cleanser and moisturizer.. My colors are pinks and purple, but very light. I slip into a black dress and heels and out the door I go. Being an Author, prompt and trim is my name. 

I am very inspired by Brooke Sheilds. She is beautiful and so is Cindy Crawford. I am hoping at Brooke's age that I look as great as she does. These two ladies have a very professional style as well as they can even look great casual.

Being an Author, I get to meet a lot of people especially women. I love admiring beautiful women. I am mainly impressed by women who are very liberal.
