I was just thinking If there is some single lady or a single mom out there that would be interested in moving to Louisville to take care of me. Please have them to get in touch with me.

I don't really have an email address here with Michael but if they would leave a message on the board with their phone number and such I could call them back.

Right now I have a house sitting in Louisville with an empty bedroom. Someone that has debt and is having a bad time catching up maybe we can work something out. I understand that the job market is opening up in Louisville.

Michael would not let me stay in the house by myself and we could not get anyone in the home in such a short period of time. that is why I am in Dallas Texas But he has promised me that in May or so  we will go home and do something with the house and such. Personally I do not want to sell all my belongs and the house. I do understand that the housing market is going up but if a buyer thinks you are deperate to sell they do take advange sometimes.

I can tell you after one day that staying with Michael and his wife is not going to work for a lot of reasons.

For one thing I am in a very small room and I can not move around at all. I feel that I am like a piece of furniture someone has put in an extra room for storage. I can not live like that for the rest of my life.

No one wants to stay even for short period of time with me.

So if any of you ladies can help me with someone it would be wonderful.

While there are a lot of people here who care about you, tyring to find someone in Louisville from this board is a long shot. 

Could you contact someone at your local church, university, etc. and spread the word that you are looking to exchange room at your house for some housekeeping and personal care?  You will probably get more replies and hopefully the people will also be vetted (by the pastor, school professor, etc).  If your house is not located too far from the school, it might be an ideal situation for a nursing student.

Hi Mary Ann,
I agree with PP. We all care about you but it may not be the best place to ask for help. There are a lot of seedy people who could take advantage. I like the idea of asking someone from the church or through a university. What about charitable organizations that may be able to assist? I don't know if its applicable or even exists in the US, but the war vets pays for someone to come clean my grandma's home and do some general assistance around the home (grandpa was a vet). Just a thought. Hang in there Mary Ann. I can't imagine how you must be feeling!

Oh Mary Ann, I am so sorry you felt forced to go with your son to Dallas.

I know your R with him is strained and it is unfortunate he didn't just with you for at least a few days.

I hope you are able to find some help so you can keep your house.

Mary Ann, I'm so sorry to hear that you've moved in with Raymond. As serenity has already said, we're aware that the R is strained. And I agree with PP that the church of school might be a good place to find likely candidates for that exra room.
