Here's the article~

"The Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation has reversed its decision of three days ago to stop funding Planned Parenthood for breast cancer screenings, the group said Friday in a statement.

"We want to apologize to the American public for recent decisions that cast doubt upon our commitment to our mission of saving women's lives," the group said.

"We will continue to fund existing grants, including those of Planned Parenthood, and preserve their eligibility to apply for future grants, while maintaining the ability of our affiliates to make funding decisions that meet the needs of their communities," the group  said."

Sounds like the Huffington Post has a different take on this. I'm not sure I fully understand yet, but I'm sure more light will be shed on it as the day goes on...

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/02/03/susan-g-komen-planned-parenthood_n_1252651.html

"To be clear, Komen's apology is not a promise to renew Planned Parenthood grants. It's a promise to "continue to fund existing grants" to the organization -- which it was already planning on doing -- and to make it eligible for future grants. At no point in the press release does Brinker promise that Komen will renew grants to Planned Parenthood."

Lots of men, too. Everyone (men and women) on another board I'm on was outraged about Komen. Lots of conservatives on that board, too. It was quite refreshing to see conservatives and liberals coming together in support of Planned Parenthood which has done so much for women.

Just saw this Tweet from a Sr. Writer at Newsweek:

"On a conference call with Planned Parenthood's Cecile Richards. They've raised over $3 million since this whole Komen debacle began."
