What exactly is the hope, point, thought in this universal coverage for contraception that is getting so much debate in the media?

I hope everyone is doing well. :-)

The hope is that women will finally have some relief from the financial burden (they already bear the physical burden if contraceptive measures fail) of birth control.

Considering the the towering absurdity of many insurance plans coverage of performance enhancing drugs like Viagra (where is the hue and cry in the Catholic church about that since it's "artificial"?), without equal measures on the other side of the equation, and you may begin to see that the call for coverage is more about addressing equality than it was ever about compelling ANY woman, regardless of her religion, to use contraceptive measures.

Well, the facade is that Obama is standing up for women's rights and helping them get that birth control that is soooo hard to get, which they just could not get before!  What a hero!

We all know (although many will not admit it) that it's a load of BS which our Great Leader is so good at. Pure politics, trying to make himself look good, when he is really doing nothing good at all. But, we are used to this crap from him by now.

Turns out too, the oft quoted and idolized Rachel Maddow is either a liar or a poor researcher.
