This baby is already a rebel!

I am beyond excited because I have my c-section scheduled for Friday.  I have gotten over having to give up on my original birth plan, mostly because it looks like I would have had a very late baby anyway.  According to my doc, his/her head is "in the stratusphere" and it doesn't look like that was going to change any time soon.  But now, I am starting to get sick!

This cold has been going around my family like crazy, and over the past few months, even though I was exposed to it, I have avoided the bad stuff.  I would have loved to have gotten sick before now, because now I have to avoid kissing all over my little one's face right after they make their arrival!  My poor sister feels awful (her son started getting sick a couple weeks ago and sneezed directly in my face.  I don't think that is where I got it from since everyone in our county is sick too, but she feels horrible anyway) and my grandmother has it, so she won't be visiting us in the hospital unless she starts feeling miraculously better in 2 days.

This is the worst timing EVER!  Hopefully the worst of this will be over after tomorrow and Friday morning I will wake up and feel better.  I'm not counting on it, and I have upped my vitamin c and zinc to give myself a fighting chance.  Now would be a good time for the docs to fork over their cure for the common cold!

I can't wait to post pics and let everyone know what we are having!  Good luck to everyone else!

Oh, man!! I'm worried about that too!! It's so hard to stay healthy with all these germs floating around!

I don't have a cure, but I sure hope it clears up before Friday! Good luck with the c-section, let us know how it goes!!
