Fertility Charting & Natural Family Planning
Want to see a stressed out chart? :)
My chart this month is NUTS.
It's my 4th month charting/TTC. This month involved a lot of stress (financial, car troubles, emotional, travel, illness, etc) which led to a great deal of poor sleep. I think my chart is a great example of how this can affect your temperatures! I really got the "sawtooth" pattern during my follicular phase. I usually temp at 540 am but some days I was up at 230, 330, 4 etc. Lot's of waking up in the middle of the night too, or difficulty falling asleep. I also had a pretty bad bladder infection - so that is what the spotting mid-cycle actually is.
Just thought I'd share. Anyone want to guess when I actually O'd? FF wants to say day 14 but I don't believe it. I have O'd on day 15 twice in the past, and once on day 17. BD'ing often made judging CM a little difficult and I don't trust my temps 100% this time around. The EWCM today was very cleary EWCM, no chance it was seminal fluid.

Oh, the joys of stress. Isn't it fun? Not! I'm going to say there's probably not a real clear way to tell when you O'd, and/or there's a possibility that you've not even O'd yet since you're still having ewcm. If I had to guess right now though, I'd say either cd14 or cd16, and I'd lean more toward cd16. You're supposed to have at least a .2 degree rise above the previous 6 temps and you don't have that amount of rise for cd14. Your temps are still pretty low if it's a cd14 O...whereas cd16 gets temp up into the average post-O temp range.
Keep temping and checking your cm and see how the next few days play out. Hopefully your stress level is decreasing!

I'm tempted to change my CD16 CM from dry to creamy. On that day we were on the road coming home to VA from TN. So I was way off my normal schedule. We were in the car for 7 hours, unpacking, returning the rental car, etc. I only remembered to check my CM once. Usually I check say 4 or 5 times throughout the day and record the most fertile type.
I don't want to believe the CD14 O. Especially since on CD15 I temped at 2:15 am! And I'm pretty sure I was tossing and turning and half awake before I took that temp, so I really don't trust it's accuracy.
DH and I are just BD'ing as much as we please and relaxing about it this cycle. I told him my chart is too wacky for obsessing this month. I'll wait to test until early March (if no AF) so even if O was off by a few days, I should still be late.

Yep, with your travel and all, you'll probably have to chalk this cycle up to being a "practice" cycle...of course, practicing can bring good luck too :-) I'll be interested to see if FF changes your O day on its own after you enter tomorrow's temp (assuming it'll be another high one). It may. We shall see ![]()
