Here's the before (the color varies all over the place because each tie-back photo was taken at a different time - the right color is the third one...):
I planned on backing them with some fabric and adding plastic circles to hang over the hooks in the window frame...
Well, I bailed on the fabric (couldn't find the yardage I had bought for them) and went with self-adhesive white felt instead. That linen was so see-through that they would have had to be lined anyway, and if I decide to go with fabric at a later date, they are already lined! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
Anyway --- here they are:
If you take the end with the small ring and insert it through the large ring, then I only need one ring for the hook:
This is what the current curtain tie-back looks like in my bedroom a strip of white cotton fabric, tied around the curtain --- and it's ALWAYS coming untied:
This is what the curtain will look like when I use the new ones (but I'm waiting until spring when I change out my duvet which these were stitched to match):
