Last week, I had planned the following:

Monday -  run off to Hobby Lobby and look for 15" stretcher frames... === DONE, sent DH instead!

Tuesday - Girls' Night Out  === DONE

Wednesday

  • * housecleaner  === DONE
  • * pay bills and balance the accounts  === DONE

Thursday - Quilt Guild === DONE, and for once, it was useful to me in that they did five ten-minute demonstrations!

And stitching ---  continue working on "Sewing With Mama" === NOT DONE. Play around with "Kimono- Revisited" by finding the right size stretcher bars... === DONE, and got the congress cloth mourned and gridded, Work on Crazy Quilt Journal/Bead Journal Project piece === NOT DONE, and the fourth Stash Buster project (which arrived last week) === DONE. Also started the last Bargello Club Project and finished the TAST - week 6 on Sunday!

Continue walking… keep trying for one mile a day. ===PARTIALLY  DONE - only two miles.

So this week ---

Monday - Well Woman check-up at 10 AM

Tuesday - Girls' Night Out (may not go if the forecast snow happens)

Wednesday

  • * housecleaner
  • * pay bills and balance the accounts (Tax booklet has arrived from accountant so may well try to strat teh taxes this week as well!)

And stitching ---  continue working on "Sewing With Mama". Play around with "Kimono- Revisited." Work on Crazy Quilt Journal/Bead Journal Project piece, and the last Bargello  project

Continue walking… keep trying for one mile a day.

Our DGrSs funeral was on Saturday, complete with both military & firefighters honors.  It was long, very moving, very draining.  I have arrived at a peaceful place. This is because my Grandson must no longer suffer the demons that plagued him. Now it is up to the rest of us to honor his spirit by taking care of each other.

Sunday - I helped sort through the flowers and brough some home to rearrange.  A lovely family had an empty room in the house they are remodeling, so they had all flowers dropped off there & left the door unlocked for us to access.

THIS WEEK

Monday - went to the gym to burn off calories & stress.  Watching movies with cat on my lap to regain my equilibrium.

Tuesday - massage in afternoon, embroidery club in the evening (if predicted ice coating doesn't arrive).

Weds - gym.  Cut out squares & triangles for quilt, then join them.  Once that part is done, it must wait until my embroidery machine is repaired so that I can do designs on triangles before putting on sashing.  Need to go to Hancocks sale & use senior discount for some outwear fabric to begin Spring jacket.

Thurs - cut out jacket.

Friday - gym, then watch DGrDs after school.

Sat & Sun - ??

Jacquie

I think you are very right in honoring teh serivce your DGrS gave adn teh sacrifices he made. It is a shame he wasn't able to accept the love others gave him but certainly he has found peace now... Now it's time four his family to heal.

Ice, eh? we are supposed to have snow tonight and rain on Thursday. This winter is nonsense!
