We will be moving 3000 miles a few weeks after the baby comes.  I am NOT excited about this.  Our new command doesn't seem to care that I will be recovering from a c-secion and are asking my DH to report 2 wks after my due date so we will have to leave on my due date.  It's going to be a long drive out there as I will Bitch and Moan the whole way.

omg..  there's no way you could talk to them about postponing this?  that's really close.  Maybe talk to your OB about moving up your c-section  date a week?  I know it took a good week to get comfy with my c-section..  and I know they didnt want me doing stairs and any major lifting or moving around after.

Wendy, My OB doesn't think I will make it into June so I am not too worried about that. I just don't want to drive that far after sx, with 3 kids, and 2 dogs (one of which is on insulin). That's a 3 day drive. My DH wants to report at the end of July so we would have to move until mid-July plenty of recovery time but this guy is such a jerk.

hopefully you'll be all healed up by then... and think of the drive as an adventure?   stop and see that giant ball of yarn!

Ugh...that is not cool at all. This goes back to "if men had babies". 

I'm sorry...I wish you the best. And yes that is gonna be one looooonnnng trip.
