When you see a baby in public-do you just have to touch it? Do you ever think about the parent's reaction? Have you ever been screamed at or reprimanded?

Would you ever stroke a stranger's baby's face or run your fingers through her hair? I've had my babies' faces stroked or hair tousled in public. While I like to look at and admire other people's babies, I don't try to feel their hair or touch their cute little cheeks. What about you?

Not me! I don't touch other people's babies or animals. Now if someone offers either of these I will hold the baby or pet the animal.

A few years ago, no one would have thought twice about someone touching their baby. Now it can conjure up images of kidnapping, stalking, child molestation and even child pornography. I've seen quite a few babies that I'd love to touch, but I won't do it without first asking permission. Most times, I'll just look and not touch.

Never! When we lived in China, all sorts of Chinese people would freak out the daughter of a friend because they would walk up and touch her baby brother in his stroller... He did't mind so much but she did awfully. He was a red-head with curls. The Chinese were fascinated!

I only touch dogs if the fur parent is with her/him...
