Thankful Thursday

There are days when our sorrows and troubles overwhelm us with saddness and it's so very hard to see any joy.  Sometimes we all need to dig a little deeper in that soil to find the joy that may need some help being found.  What are you thankful for  today?

What are your Thursday plans?

Happy Thankful Thursday  Morning Susan and All!

Did not sleep well at all… way too warm!  We’re having warm, Spring-like weather and sleeping with winter flannel sheets.  Doing laundry today so will check the weather forecast to see if we need all cotton or a mix but for today, I’m really enjoying the morning blue-skies, sunrays through the windows and hearing the birds chirping.  Actually, both my cats are pretty excited about the birds, too… :smileywink:

:smileyhappy:Thankful for today’s weather – it’s making me think of main-meal salads – yum!

:smileyhappy:Thankful that Dh’s unpaid day-off is done this week and he’s back at the office.  And thankful he sent his resume to a place that sounds promising but we’ll see…

:smileyvery-happy:Thankful for the laughter our Daisy and Pepper bring us every day.

Not a fan of FB but still :heart:thankful to connect to all my family through it.  That and Skype.

Today’s Workout Plan

Cathe Friedrich’s Slide & Glide 30-min

Treadmill Destination: 30-min

Gilad Quick Fit System: Shoulders & Arms 15-min

Good Morning,

Yes, very spring like weather we are having.  Most of my winter weight clothing wasn't worn this year.  Very strange weather....makes me wonder what the spring and summer weather will be like.

Back to the 9 to 5.  For a 4 day work week this week is sure moving very slowly.  But I always keep remembering the calm before the storm and I know that storm is looming somewhere....meanwhile I keep humming the I love my job song...

I'm so far behind on laundry around here.  I need to get in the habit of setting an alarm and getting up a bit earlier.  I've been doing the waking up at 4AM and then going back into a really deep sleep that has me getting up way too late.

Not sure about a workout today.  Ricky is headed to doggie day care today.  Our nightly jaunts just don't expend all the energy that needs to be expended in him.  He comes home exhausted....and a tired dog makes for a very good dog!

I have pork chops in the crockpot for dinner....new recipe so we'll see how that goes!

Nancy-hope the chiro treatment helped your brother and he's feeling better.

Patty-I'm so sorry about the distance between your sister and the family.  It must be very hard to deal with and everything else going on.

D-Deb-good luck to your DH!

Grace-prayers for your DH and the biopsy.  I've been there and done that...

Margie-very excited for you and the upcoming wedding...sounds like a good time....pictures please!

Deb-good luck with the babysitting.  It certainly must be exhausting!

Margo-how are you doing?

Karen-how's the stress levels in your house?

Well better get a move on if I stand a chance of getting to work on time!

Hope you all have a great day!

Susan

Good morning everyone!  Waving hello to all … you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Thankful Thursday … feeling at peace and confident this morning.  Perhaps it is the Lenten season … lifting the spirits so to speak.

Thankfuls today … Faith, Family, Freedom, Home, Food, Friendships, & Abilities.  We had a couple inches of snow overnight (came down as freezing rain to start) … since the east coast gals are feeling balmy, here are a couple pictures of what I see this morning outside the window where my laptop is located.

Hope each of you can find some Joy in your Thursday.  Hugs to all,

Good morning ladies.  I slept wonderfully last night.  In fact, my alarm woke me at 7am.  I set it because I am going hiking with 3 other people this morning at 8:30.  We're getting out before the warmth of the day.  It's supposed to get to 80 today. I am really looking forward to this.  I do hope that I can keep up with them and if I cannot, I'll sit and wait for them to return.  <s>  This afternoon is a get together down the street.  I am putting a roast into the crock pot and it will be ready when I'm ready to eat.  I will continue to get a bit of organization and putting away done here so I have one thing I'm in control of in my life.

I know it is Thankful Thursday and I'm working hard to find thankful things each day.  I'm thankful for my children and for my friends down here.  They are keeping me above water and helping me survive right now.  I'm also very thankful for each of you.  Enjoy your Thursday!!
