Auto-suggest helps you quickly narrow down your search results by suggesting possible matches as you type.
Hi -
Click on their avatar which will bring you to their board profile. Scroll down and on the right you'll see a link that says, "Send this user a private message." Click on that and you'll be able to send the user a message.
Alternatively, you can click on the link to the right of the page (under quick links) that says, "My private messages." When you're on the compose screen, you can enter any member's name to send them a message.
