Looking for a little used girl name with a common nick name

I'm getting ahead of myself, since I'm not PG, but I'm looking for some ideas.  I'm looking for a little used girl name with a common nick name.  We've got a common last name that doubles as a first name, so we'd like to stay out of the most popular ranks.  However, I'd like them to have a choice to use a well known nick name. We prefer clearly feminine names.

DD is Anastasia, but is called Anna 90% of the time.

If we have a boy we'll use Nicodemus, nn Nick.

The only thing on my short list right now is Genevieve, nn Jenna.  DH isn't sold, though.  And we're very close to my Aunt Ginny and worry about confusion...not to mention it seems confusing to switch the G to a J for the nn...still debating.

Others we've considered: (just to give you a feel for our stye)

Josephine (family conflict)

Matilda (don't like nn Matty + niece Madelyn goes by Maddy and Tilly seems like a family nn that wouldn't be good in school.)

Alexandria (not fond of 2 A names and would prefer a clearly feminine nn).

When trying to work from nn backward...I love Meg, but Megan has too many spellings and seems dated.  Margaret is too much of a leap for DH.

TIA for any thoughts.

Hi there.

Anastasia nn Anna is lovely, & Nicodemus would be great for her brother.  I prefer the nn Nico, but I guess it's not quite as well known as Nick.

Gevieve would be nice as a sister to Anastasia.  I do think that the nn Jenna is awkward though.  What's wrong w/Genna?  Personally, I love Gigi as a nn for Genevieve.  It's not as well known, but simple none the less.

How about Matilda nn Millie or Maisy?

I think that it might be a slight stretch, but how about Magdalena or Magnolia nn Meg?  Also, Maggie would be cute w/Anna.

A few more suggestions-

Beatrice nn Bess

Beatrix nn Bess

Caterina nn Cate

Eloisa nn Ellie

Eleanora nn Ellie or Nora

Isadora nn Izzy

Lucinda nn Lucy

Luciana nn Lucy

Rosalia nn Rosie

Rosamund nn Rosie

Rosalind nn Rosie

Hope this helps. :smileyhappy:

Gwendolyn nn Gwen There are just so many names with lyn shoved on the end, that this seems like part of that trend, even though it isn't.

Beatrice/Beatrix nn Bea nms

Katerina nn Kate  This has been on the list a long time, but DH issues.

Penelope nn Penny or Nell I'll run this by DH again.

Evangeline nn Eva or Evie Too many Eves already in the family.

Rosamund nn Rose or Rosie Interesting.

Miribelle nn Miri Too many Bells right now.

Cecilia nn Celia or Cece SIL has dibbs.

Camilla nn Cami I like it, but DH issues.

Henrietta nn Etta or Hattie nms

Lucille nn Lucy I'm not a Lucille Ball fan.

Winter nn Wynn nms

Winifred nn Wynn This was on the list.  Will run it by DH again.

Demetria nn Demi worried about dementia

Cordelia nn Cora I can't get past the Buffy the Vampire Slayer character ;P

My DD, 5, is Imogen nn Jenna.   Esp in the states, and spelling/pronouncing traditionally (not Imogene), it's an uncommon name with lots of nn possibilities.
