QOTW - 2/20 - Pregnancy

What is your favorite and least favorite part of pregnancy?

I LOVED almost every single thing about pregnancy...my growing belly and feeling the movements were such a wonderful experience. The only things I didn't like were the difficulty sleeping and anxiety about the health of the baby. Everything else rocked...I so hope I get to do it again *fingers crossed*

I can't say i loved any part of it.  it was cool getting ultra sounds and seeing how the baby was growing.  the first movements were cool.   I also can't say i hated pregnancy.  I had a really easy pregnancy so i won't complain.   I didn't get big till the last 8 weeks so I would think the worst part was trying to sleep in those 8 weeks.  Oh and also the peeing all the time, could have done without it.

I tend to agree with caryn I loved every minute of being pregnant even though I had gestational diabetes PIH and worked until the minute my water broke I missed being pregnant since the moment Anna popped out. What I loved most was the cOnfidence I had I felt and looked better than I had in years. And looked forward to labor and delivery as I will again if I'm lucky enough to be blessed twice. A few things that were annOying was the morning sickness and my Feet growing lol !

I have to admit, this latest pregnancy was pretty miserable. I loved thinking about what my babies would be like and the ultrasounds were cool. The rest of it though, yikes- it's the first time I've had significant nausea or vomiting and I had terrible anxiety the whole time that something would go wrong. The delivery ended up being kind of bittersweet, I felt more in control which was a bit therapuetic and I felt good enough to go home just a few hours later - but it was very fast and of course I was very concerned about delivering so early.

I also love pregnancy!!! Even though I was nauseated for the first 16 weeks, it's been great! My baby is really active and I absolutely love to feel every little twinge, turn, kick, even tho some hurt... and I love to watch my belly. It's great! I could do without the worry, but I think that is natural to any pregnant mom, especially those of us who have gone thru so much to get here. I really am not liking my new cankles- lol... it seems by the end of the day, swelling finds me. So far it doesn't hurt; it's just not pretty to look at.

Any, why is it that time is flying for everyone else, but I feel like I've been stuck in the 20-odd weeks pregnant forever?! Everyone keeps telling me how fast it's going, and I'm like, "For who?!"

Just over 11 weeks to go!!!!

TTC since January 2008 ; unexplained 3 failed rounds Clomid 4 failed IUIs December 2010-1st IVF-Retrieved 45 eggs; only 12 fertilized! 5 embryos frozen at pronuclear stage, 1 "good" embryo transferred, had OHSS; got BFP, but lost pregnancy at 7 weeks. FET August 25, 2011- transferred 2 Grade 1.5 embryos, an 8 and 9 cell. 11 days post transfer- Hcg 11. They told me I wasn't having a viable pregnancy, but would retest 2 days. 13 dpt-Hcg24. Still not hopeful; 15dpt-Hcg48, Dr concerned about ectopic; 19dpt- Hcg148; 21dpt-Hcg684, Dr very worried about ectopic; First ultrasound on 9/19 at 24 dpt- One sweet little heartbeat in my uterus! 6wk 0 days! I had a slow implanter!!! 2nd ultrasound 9/27 at 7 weeks- strong heartbeat 140bpm! Released to OB!! I thought this day would never come for me!!! 10/10-3rd ultrasound-little bean is doing great, wiggling and can see the arms moving!!! Yay!!! 12/28- 20 week ultrasound- showed a healthy baby-we're not finding out the sex... love a good surprise! Due date May 15, 2012
