HI guys, I'm Stephanie, one of the ivoices and my report on my struggle with postpartum anxiety went live yesterday. I have a three year old and a 2 month old and lucky me, I've got ppa again. Yay.

Anyway, I wondered if there was anyone else out there suffering with a PPMD who wanted to chat a bit. I think support is the key to us slogging our way through this!

Stephanie! As a survivor of PPA myself and now a leader of ppd support group in NJ - bravo!! You were so honest and spot on. I will be showing this video to my group on Monday. I get new moms every couple weeks who find us - moms who are in the middle of that long, ugly road thru it, and now moms who hold the hands of the other moms who need the support daily just to make it thru. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE  to connect with you -  have some other interesting things going on cannot post here. I think you may be interested...

hi my name is Pamela, I am 27 and live in NJ. I have a 2 and a half year old daughter and a 2 month old son, and a very supportive husband, but i am experiencing some pretty bad post partum depression and really need some one to talk to that is going through the same thing. All my friends either dont have children, or only have one child, and they dont get it. I love my children so much, but I feel like I am not doing a good job raising them, and lots of orther stuff. I am afraid that if i seek professional help, they will think i am unsafe and want to take my kids away, or drug me up which i dont want to do because i am breast feeding. At any rate, if you would like to vent with me... my email is pikehomepagewebmaster@yahoo.com or search Pamela Gifford on face book...i am the one with a pink outline on my pic. thanks hope to chat with you soon

Hi Pamela, welcome to the board! Please continue to post, other moms are here to support you. I think every mom has feelings of inadequacy, it's so hard. Don't be scared to talk to your doctor, and there are medications you can take while breastfeeding. Please talk to your doctor about this, there is no stigma in needing help for PPD.

Hi... i'm 27 years old and i think i'm going through postpartum depression right now. I cant get motivated to work out or eat healthy and i'm just so down in the dumps feeling and cry all of the time.

If someone would like to talk that would be so nice. Maybe we could help eachother?
