Strollers, Strollers and Car seats... ugh!

I need some suggestions please.

I was looking at two different types of triplet strollers.

The Peg Perego Triplette SW stroller

http://www.pegperegousa.com/babyproducts-catalog/2012/Triplette+SW+Stroller

and the Triple Decker Stroller.

http://www.doubledeckerstroller.com/order1.html

With those comes the different types of carriers and OMG I'm going nuts!

I priced out the Peg Pergo and 3 Primo Viaggio pop 30-30 seats..   it's pricey, but the review worried me.  It said that the baby's head falls forward.  Some said they loved the seats.

The triple decker one has 3 wheels and is crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy long!  like 60+"..   where the other is like 40" long but difficult to steer.

Ugh!  help...

Triple decker all the way!  I too have heard terrible things about the pegs steering.

The peg is certainly better looking but I'm all about function.  I'm buying a quad runabout for my 2 sets of twins and the length put me off at first, but I've heard it steers like a dream and you won't want to go places if pushing your stroller is a chore.  I figure being a MOM is already sometimes isolating, why make it worse with a stroller that doesn't work for you.

One word of caution, make sure either of these fits in your vehicle- sometimes there are nasty surprises there.  We are probably upgrading to a fullsize van which it will fit in, but for now our stroller will have to go on a hitch carrier.

Right now we have a Grand Caravan, but with 1 in a booster and 4 in carseats it's going to be a VERY tight fit (well, as soon as the babies come home). We're waiting for the Nissan NV passenger van to come out- in roughly May- it looks like a good solution to our problems (will hold up to 12 with LATCH in all rear seats)...though kicking myself for buying a brand new minivan and only owning it for what will be less than two years :/

Wow..  you have 5 kids!  You're super mom! :smileyhappy:

I had asked you in another post if the babies were home with you yet.  How are they doing?  How long have they been in Nicu for?  Do you visit daily or weekly or ?  I'm asking because the place  we have to go to now is an hour away and I dont know that I can go every day.  I'm feeling bad about  that..  :smileyindifferent:

We are looking at getting the Town & Country.. used.  I'm totally in denial that I need to get a mini van.  I hate how they look on the outside and I'm nervous to drive a huge vehicle but hubby is definitely good at telling me I'll love the inside and love the space I'll have.  I want a smaller car/suv type like the mazda 5 or the volvo that isnt so big but seats 6.   Do you like the Caravan?  What did you drive before it?  I have a wrangler and have always had smaller/compact cars so I'm kind of nervous about such a big vehicle for parking, etc.
