Hi Everyone,

 Okay so im going to my aunts wedding in august around santa rosa, ca area. And was wondering what I should wear. This will be her second wedding and I think its going to be outside.  Not sure though.  Not sure if I should go to a bridal store and find a formal long gown??  What colors would be best?

If you are not part of the wedding party, I would consider dress for the weather.  Also, you should ask the aunt for the dress code.

Is the reception is going to be outside?

If there is no formal wear dress code, the LBD is the way to go.

I would find out for sure where the wedding is being held and go from there. I agree, if you aren't part of the wedding party there is no reason to buy your dress at a bridal shop, unless that is your preference. I don't know that I'd go with the LBD, I'm more likely to go with a color that looks good on me, in a style that is comfortable, flattering and appropriate for the occasion and setting.
