I don't know that they are too "girlish" as much as not exactly professional, at least not with a skirt. You might also find that they are not going to be comfortable after a few hours. I know I need at least a half inch heel or my calves hurt as do the bottom of my feet. They also are not really all that good for your feet.

Hi!

It sounds like you have a position with some authority and high visibility where people will be looking to you. I think you should go with more professional shoes personally. I think a traditional black pump is more suited to your role whether you're wearing a skirtsuit or pantsuit. I would go with at least a 3-inch heel or even higher if possible (chunky heel would be fine for comfort and support) with a closed toe. I'd stay away from trendy shoes... sandals, platforms...etc. If its a knee-length or shorter skirted suit, I would also strongly recommend pantyhose. If it's a longer skirt or long pants I would recommend at least knee-high hose or thigh-highs (with or without garterbelt depending on preference and practicality).

Just my two cents! :-)

No.  This is unprofessional wear.

I agree! You can be girly and still stay professional.
