September 2012 Expecting Club

DH and I had agreed early on that we weren't going to tell people about this pregnancy until 12 weeks. Around 7 weeks, I ended up needing to go in for an u/s, and we saw the baby's heartbeat and everything was measuring right and looking good, so we told our parents that night. Well, we just got to 12 weeks so we went ahead and told our close friends & family last weekend.

BUT, my next dr's appointment isn't until next week (Feb 29) and now that we've told people I'm starting to get really worried about the possibility of a missed miscarriage. What if we go to the Dr and she can't find the heartbeat and we have to call everybody again and tell them? I don't know if I could face it. We have no reason to think anything is wrong, so I'm trying not to worry, but I just wish Feb 29 would hurry up and get here already!

Take a deep breath and remember that odds are in your favor!! I know that's hard. I've had a miscarriage and I find it hard not to worry myself, but I try to remember that stressing isn't good for the baby. I hope the next 7 days FLY by. until then try distracting your self with a good book Hugggsss!!!!

It's so hard not to get excited after seeing that heartbeat. I'm one of the tells everyone early. Even if I had wanted to keep it secret, there's no way I could. I "look" pregnant. Lol. Hugs. Hoping the next week flies by. I have an appt on the 29th as well for intake.

I feel the exact same way, my first appt is the 28 and even though I still feel really pregnant, I stil worry that there wont be a heartbeat. Trying to keep myself busy! I can't wait till the babe starts moving around so I can quit worrying!
