Vaccuming her room I see a white pill. Pick it up, dont recognize it. Google it, its Vicodin. WTF? Nobody in the house has that RX. So I searched her room. She has 2 baggies, about 15 pills each. One is vicodin the other is hydrochloride? She shows no signs of using, but I dont know. I have had so much drama this year with her.  Too much to share.

I cannot afford counseling, I contacted the pastor of our church. I dont know what to do. This is my 15yr old sister. Since my mom died, our custody hearing is coming up. But if she is doing this, I dont want her around my DD.

Wow, Karri! There are a few places she could have gotten them. Friends or at school are my guess.

Yes I did. I sent her to her grandmas on Friday. Then I search/stripped her room. Found the razor blades she has been using to cut. I got a referral for her for counseling also. Waiting for them to contact me. I put away all her fun stuff as punishment for now. No make-up , radio, ipod, or hair straightener. She has also lost computer time and tv time. I did talk to her, and she says its because it was losing people close to her. But I didnt buy it, the cutting began before we lost anybody. I dont know what to do. Guess we wait to hear what the counselor says.

Karri, I am sorry to hear about your mom and that your sister is giving you heck. Your sister is crying out for help and as a former cutter (fortunately mine was short lived, only about a year) I can tell you something has happened to her that has made her either void of emotion or borderline suicidal. She is showing self-destructive behaviors and needs help ASAP before she goes any further downhill. I'm glad your little one didn't get ahold of those pills. How are things going today?
