I would like to completely delete my ivillage account.  How do I do this?  If I delete the account will all of my posts on the message board disappear too?

We don't delete accounts, but you can go into your posts and edit out the content.  I'm sorry you want to delete your account. Is there anything I can help you with?

I would like to completely delete my account as well. This is not what I excepted and I don't think it's right that deleting an account, or a post, is not an option.

As for the posts, you can go into your posts and edit out the content, which will make them blank. To do so, just click on the options link in each of your posts and then choose edit.

THIS IS WRONG! YOU CANNOT SAMPLE ANYTHING ON THIS SITE UNTIL YOU LOG IN. I TRIED TO LOG IN WITH MY FACEBOOK, BUT THAT IS NOT PERMITTED UNLESS I ALLOW THIS SCAM TO POST ON MY FACEBOOK AS IF THEY ARE ME, SPAMMING MY FRIENDS. SOMETHING I WILL NEVER DO. Hi there,

I'm sorry you're having an issue with the site, but I'm not following what the issue is. You can absolutely view the site (articles and message board posts) without creating an account. The only time you'd need to log in is when you want to post. That is required on any site you wish to create content on.

The only post I'm seeing on your account is this one. The other posters in this thread were requiring about removal of all of their posts, which we do not do unless they violate TOS. All of this is in the agreement when you sign up for an account.
