Study: Vax'd Kids 2-5 Times More Diseases than Unvax'd

My dad posted this article on his Facebook wall:  http://healthfreedoms.org/2011/10/14/big-study-vaccinated-kids-2-5-more-diseases-than-unvaccinated/

From the article:

A German study released in September 2011 of about 8000 UNVACCINATED children, newborn to 19 years, show vaccinated children have at least 2 to 5 times more diseases and disorders than unvaccinated children.

I don't know very much about the study itself, but I think it's interesting to look at the data like this.  The article says that a study like this has never been done before.

What do you think about these numbers and the study itself?

I am not any good at taking apart studies, so I will leave that to the experts.

And I know that anedotes do not equal data, so my experiences really are meaningless.

But my experiences do coincide with the study. My super allergic children are seldom sick beyond their allergies while most of the people I know that vaccinate regularly, they seem to be sick all the time. There may be other things involved though - diet, health, exposure to others.

My two oldest did have their baby shots - though since they are adults now, the amount of shots they had was much smaller than nowadays. I did not continue their shots past babyhood, as I learned more.

My youngest was the only one completely not vaccinated. If he does get sick, it would be much shorter than everyone else. The flu went thru our neighbourhoood one year, and everyone was sick for a minimum of three weeks, can't even get out of bed sick. My youngest was sick for 1.5 days - and took care of me when I got sick.

A controlled scientific study DOES NOT ask random people to fill out a questionnaire on line. I saw that and didn't read anymore. Any results are meaningless.

the "study" consisted of an online questionnaire run by a German homeopath who is specialised in "treatment" of "vaccine damage" - it is total bogus.

Thanks for your thoughts. My dad is constantly bombarding me with stuff like this, and my standard "no response" only seems to make him try harder. :/
