Did anyone see her movie staring Julie Roberts where she took on a giant chemical company? Well it was based on a true story and now the consumer advocate is once again investigating. This time there is  a mystery illness affecting teens in NY.

I did watch that movie several years ago and I remember how strong and passionate she was. With her participation in the investigation of this strange illness, I think it will help. If anything it will draw more attention to the matter (and hopefully some answers!). I can't even imagine what these teens are living with right now.

I did see the movie and loved it. And I've heard about the illness these girls have contracted and the "official diagnosis". I just keep putting myself in the parents' shoes; I know I'd want every single aspect investigated. Because of that,  I'd be a little more than peeved at the school for kicking the investigators off the campus, calling their attempt to test water samples "grandstanding". I mean, what does it hurt to have additional testing?

I'm sure the city is grateful to have Erin Bulldog Brockovich behind them.  Hopefully she succeeds in finding out the cause.

I hope they find a cause - I know if it were one of my children I would want every thing possible done to find a cause. And it is less about blame than wanting to find the right treatment - honestly people are so concerned about who gets blamed that they forget these are all young, vibrant teens who just want to get their lives back.
